The work of Kirby Sattler is fueled by an inherent interest in the Indigenous Peoples of the Earth. Though Sattler himself is non-Indian, his artwork evolves from the history, ceremony, mythology, and spirituality of the Native American. Sattler's ultra-detailed interpretations examine the inseparable relationship between First Peoples and the natural world, reflecting a culture that had no hard line between the sacred and the mundane. Although Sattler is meticulous about creating true-to-life depictions of the clothing, artifacts and traditions of Native Americans, he is most concerned with capturing a sense of spirituality and reverence. Warrior’s Work carries limited edition giclées of Sattler’s, ranging in price from $100 to $1200, depending on the size of the reproduction.
