Established in 1996 in Hill City, Warrior’s Work is one of the finest
galleries in the upper Great Plains. Our gallery walls are filled with
bold imagery, steeped in spirituality, ceremony, and the culture of the
indigenous people of the northern plains. Creations by Native and
non-native Americans can be found at Warrior’s Work, and we are proud to
know our artists personally. They are people we respect and
enthusiastically represent.
Unlike any other gallery you’ll visit, Warrior’s Work features the
exquisite leather frame designs invented by the gallery’s owner,
Randy Berger. Leather framing is the only type of framing done at our
studio. Each frame, designed specially for each work of art, is a work of
art in itself. Our studio incorporates fine woodworking skills,
draftsmanship, and artistic expression to produce each frame.
These web pages
contain only some of the artists we represent. We’ll be adding more as
time progresses.
“In Native American cultures all talents and abilities are seen as
gifts from spirit, so everything we create contains our ‘personal
medicine,’ our spiritual power, and the power of the spirit that inspired
us. All Warrior’s Work creations are our humble attempts to honor the
life lived by the spirit warriors of the Plains, whose time, I know, has
come ‘round again.” – Randy Berger, Gallery Owner
